My New Favorite Item on Amazon
This Playmobile set on Amazon needs an add-on product of security lines and impatient passengers, but it is a good start!
Some of the reviews are hysterical. My own personal observations–shouldn’t that jacket and ascot be removed? Also, hello? Shoes!
Some of my favorite reviews:
I was a little disappointed when I first bought this item, because the functionality is limited. My 5 year old son pointed out that the passenger’s shoes cannot be removed. Then, we placed a deadly fingernail file underneath the passenger’s scarf, and neither the detector doorway nor the security wand picked it up. My son said “that’s the worst security ever!”. But it turned out to be okay, because when the passenger got on the Playmobil B757 and tried to hijack it, she was mobbed by a couple of other heroic passengers, who only sustained minor injuries in the scuffle, which were treated at the Playmobil Hospital.
I had to wait for an incredibly long time last time I flew. The same idiot was in front of me setting off alarms because he was too stupid to take off his metal claw hands and put them in his checked bag. How inconsiderate can you get.
Right up front, I was a little upset when my Playmobile Security Checkpoint arrived in the mail. The package appeared to be opened and resealed with printed tape bearing the TSA logo. Inside was a bright green tag stating that the TSA has searched my purchase for contraband.
Unfortunately, the current price is about $200. Sigh. My
lego lego-like building blocks days are numbered.
