Check Your Email: Targeted US Airways PQM Offer

As if the gorgeous view from our suite at the Hyatt Clearwater wasn’t enough this morning, I got an email that made me go shrieking off the balcony to show a very startled Jeanne.

Triple Premier Qualifying Miles on all US Airways flights now through 01/04/14! No registration necessary.

My gamble on going for status with three airlines hasn’t worked out very well with the delayed merger, but this puts me back in the game!

This is definitely a targeted offer. I’m a Platinum who has only flown 13,000 miles and 21 segments. Neither Jeanne, who’s well on her way to requalifying for Chairman, nor a few other travel friends with very few US Airways miles received the offer. So its well worth checking your inbox!

For those interested, here are the terms and conditions:

The best part is that they’re giving me 4 days in 2014 to earn triple premier qualifying miles, so if I find really cheap fares I could get an early head start for top status.

  1. Man..lucky!! I’m US Air gold, and I’d tear through this promo if I ever got it :(… good luck!! 🙂 I was able to get that AA targeted offer honored back in August for the 6k, 12k, 30k one for status 😉

  2. I’m Chairman’s that has only 66K so far this year. Hoping they send it to me or I might only make Platinum for next year (and this is my first year as a Chairman Preferred).

Honestly I do get a little annoyed at the targeted bonuses as I think they discourage the regular business. If they offered this to everyone I bet already high level flyers might fly even more (like me!).

  3. Keri, remember with US airways you can buy up so the 3X is irrelevant. I am C on US and only have 30K miles so far but why travel when the buy up is so inexpensive

    1. Keri’s actually been working on the calculation of places she wants to go plus the 175% RDMs you get from travel compared to the cost of buy up and the time of travel. (I’ve been listening to it 😛 ) Buy up is inexpensive, but if you want to go to Vegas, it makes the value proposition much more appealing. Especially if it moves you from one buy up bracket to another.
