An Amazing September Glossybox in October

I’ve been anxiously waiting this month’s Glossybox, growing increasingly convinced this was a good excuse to end my subscription after this month now that I discovered Sample Society.

Of course this is irrational for many reasons, not the least of which is shipment date. If I just called it an October box then I’d be thrilled to get it October 1. But anyway…

My plans to cancel my subscription were weakened when I opened the box.

Even more when I got a glimpse of the items.

And evaporated completely when I went through each item. First up was the make up remover. Since I don’t wear a lot of makeup this wasn’t really a big deal. BUT I desperately needed a new eyelash curler. And since I’d planned on some drugstore <$10 option, I’m pretty psyched to see if the Emite Makeup Eyelash Curler retailing at $30.50 is better. It certainly looks pretty!

Next up was Nioxin Diamax Treatment. Normally I would be interested in a new hair product, but wouldn’t have shrieked. But this weekend a friend had recommended Nioxin products for thin hair and I’d placed an order for the (much cheaper) shampoo. So how awesome that they’d sent me a full size sample of a $50 product!

Last, but certainly not least…the first fragrance in 4 years that I’ve actually wanted to wear AND an eye liner in a color I use — onyx. While the Be a Bombshell eyeliner pen has a thicker tip than I’m used to, I’m much more likely to try it then the purple liners I keep getting sent. And the BCBGMaxAzria Bon Genre Eau De Parfum! Usually I give my samples to others, but this one I”m keeping which prompted my friend to immediately buy her own.
