Woke up to these two deals in my inbox, and was particular excited (though I already own it) to about the second one!

  • Free Kindle version of Miss Buncle’s Book. If you want some light-hearted, non-romance frothy fiction for your flights, definitely check this out. I’m a fan of mysteries and novels set in early 20th century England (I have no idea why!) and found the humorous character development pretty entertaining. Enough that I bought the next two books in the series to distract me from my flight delays.

  1. I was happy to see the Samsonite deal, however it’s not what you describe it as. The 21″ carry-on is the larger of the two, and the other is a 15″ tall something… “Spinner boarding bag” which is somewhat worthless to many.

    1. Sorry! (and thank you for catching it and to Jeanne for updating) I hadn’t had my morning coffee yet. Was looking at reviews both on and off Amazon to make sure it was decent construction and pulled the wrong specs.

  2. So basically you’re promoting a product you yourself wouldn’t purchase and do not like. Its pretty irresponsible blogging to push products just so you can earn referral money. Also pretty irresponsible to misdescribe the product to make it sound better.

    1. While spinners are not my favorite, Jeanne and several members of my family prefer them and would take advantage of this deal, so I shared it with them in mind. (And have learned my lesson about trying to post quickly before an early AM flight). 🙂

    2. Deals of the day won’t give affiliate credit to Keri for posting. It’s only regular non-sale items.

  3. After “purchasing” that free Kindle book, I got the following email:

    Your Amazon.com Promotional Credit
Your recent purchase of a literary fiction Kindle book has qualified you to own or gift select literary fiction Kindle books for $0.99. The promotional code has already been applied to your account. For redemption instructions, and additional information including offer restrictions, visit http://www.amazon.com/BookDeal.

    Awesome 🙂
