What’s In the May Birchbox

a box with a variety of products in it

My recent travels delayed when I was able to check out my May Birchbox, but it was a nice surprise to come back to! And I have to admit I was a big fan of the patterned box and yellow rather than pink tissue paper 🙂

There was a travel size bottle of Number 4 High Performance Volumizing Shampoo which I was excited to see! I’d received a bottle of the clarifying shampoo in the past which I quite liked. And they thew in a packet of volumizing conditioner as a bonus.

I was most excited about the little tube of Supergoop! Everyday SPF 30 with Cellular Response Technology. It’s the perfect size for a purse or a pocket making it easy to touch up facial sunscreen during the day without lugging about a big bottle.

I’m not a fan of food products, but I was ok with getting a sample packet of SmartyPants All-in-One Gummy Vitamins. I have fond memories of chewable vitamins when I was young and I’m always up for fun ways of staying healthy. I liked the taste and texture but not a fan that it takes 6 gummies to hit the recommended daily serving.

Next was a tube of Pixi Coral Crush Shea Butter Lip Balm. It looks like it would be a garish orange, but it actually goes on very lightly. There was also a travel size bottle of Gilchrist & Soames Spa Therapy Body Wash which had a pleasant scent, but I always associate that brand with hotels since its often soap/shampoo.

Definitely a good box! Am curious to know if anyone else got different items, particularly Supergoop!

If you’re considering signing up for Birchbox I’d love it if you’d use my referral link.
