  1. I’d prefer miles typically when it comes to credit cards (if miles per cent has a great ratio) but with ebates, definitely cash back!

  2. I used to be a miles only guy, but now I exclusively use cash back portals with a points/miles card – Ebates is one of my primaries. Today is also the last day of their $75 refer 3 friends offer by the way.

  3. My favorite thing to earn is transferrable points (such as Chase UR, Amex MR, etc.) but cash back is pretty nice too, and I love Ebates!

  4. I prefer cash back, but certainly have been playing the miles game recently and the perks are pretty nice!

  5. If I wasn’t afraid of flying I would go for miles, but I’m all about the cash back. It lets me buy my wife all kinds of nice things. 😉

  6. It can take quite a while to actually get your money from ebates. I didn’t get my Christmas shopping refund until May!!! But I did eventually get it.

  7. Most of the time cash. BTW, getting the ebates plugin for chrome reminds me each time I’m on a page with a ebate. I’ve saved more money by remembering to log in with that reminder.

  8. I prefer to to earn cash back, you can use it everywhere. With miles or rewards, you are limited to where and how to redeem those rewards 🙂

  9. Miles! Always miles. There are so many creative ways to get places using miles. Recently, I was able to use miles to take my girlfriend to Hawaii for the first time. She couldn’t believe that we got two round trip flights and a week in a nice hotel for less than $100, all thanks to miles!
