Try the World: Buenos Aires Edition

Try the World is my latest subscription box obsession. They deliver bi-monthly boxes with good from around the world. Of my first two boxes, I was lukewarm on the value of the Moroccan box, but positively loved the Paris Box. I had an amazing time in Argentina a couple of years back and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Buenos Aires box!

As soon as I opened it, I knew it was going to be good.

Humming “these are a few of my favorite things” I dug right in.

Savory first! What’s not to love about a bottle of Vanoli Chimichurri Ahumado sauce and a jar of MQA Gourmet green olive paste.

I loved wine tasting while looking out on the Andes, so the Memories of Patagonia Malbec wine marinade made with Patagonia berries, local honey, and of course Malbec will be perfect. I’m not a big sweet fan, but Dona Magdalena dulce de leche will be good for dinner party desserts, or a nice hostess gift.

And I can never have enough membrillo (quince) paste despite the fact it always sounds like “membrane” to me. 🙂

And to finish it off, tea time treats! Bake Love Koo! salty sweet butter cookies and Chamana and Inti Zen teas.

Definitely happy with the selection this time, especially since with a year subscription each box is only $33 vs the regular rate of $39.95. Can’t wait for next month’s which has a Japan theme!

If you’re interested in trying Try the World, I would love it if you signed up using my referral link! You can get a free Paris box with the purchase of an Argentina box (essentially half off each).
