Birchbox Goes Bold

a box with colorful designs

July’s Birchbox has finally arrived and it’s quite eye catching.

Literally. Like 80s meets the Southwest. Fortunately the contents were not as shocking and are perfect for summer trips.

The Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray ($22-$42) is perfect for soaking up oil after a long flight or drive. And the Key West Aloe Save a Tan ($12.50) will be perfect should I ever get myself to a beach this summer.

Rather excited to try out the small tube of the all natural HAVVN Night Cream ($30) and I love trying out new eye liners — hopefully Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real! Push-Up Liner ($24) will help me look alert after my next red eye. 🙂

And then the item I selected in advance, the stila look at me liquid lipstick ($20 for trio). This pink is a little too “look at me” so I probably won’t be sporting it very often.

  1. The Benefit eyeliner is so great for long flights because it does.not.budge. I wore it on a trip to Australia via Asia and it stayed on the whole way (including through a shower in The Wing in HKG :)). Just be sure to bring some makeup remover for when you want to take it off.
