First Class Cabins…for Pets?

By  |

American Airlines is taking pet friendly cabins to a new level, creating first class berths on flights between New York and Los Angeles and San Francisco. The two “pet cabins” in first class will be able to fit carriers 19 x 13 inches. I’m assuming pets would not be allowed free range in the space, but it still should be more comfortable for pet and owner than wedged under the seat.

Kudos to American for getting such a great model too 😉

Right now American Airlines is the only airline who will offer such a feature, though People and Pets Dog Airlines is starting flights Fall 2015. The airline will only transport pets, with a focus on dogs.
