Earn Double or Triple Points for Booking Flights on Orbitz
Through October 25, you can earn double Orbitz Rewards points for booking any flights on Orbitz. And for specific airlines they’re offering the following:
- 4x Orbucks for AeroMexico flights (through Oct 11)
- 4x Orbucks for China Eastern flights (through Oct 18)
- 4x Orbucks for Condor flights (through Oct 28)
- 3x Orbucks for Virgin America flights (through Oct 25)
- 3-4x Orbucks for select Qatar Airways flights (through Oct 25)
If you don’t already have a free Orbitz Rewards account you’ll need to sign up for one first. You won’t see a banner advertising the double points promo but you’ll notice the bonus Orbucks underneath the price is 2% rather than 1%.
I’m a huge fan of Orbitz Rewards because they let you immediately apply any Orbucks you’ve earned to a hotel booking, no minimum redemption amount. Obviously you don’t want to book through a 3rd party site for chain hotels since you’d be sacrificing any elite benefits or stay credits, but for independent hotels this is a great option.
