Lost luggage and items left behind on flights can make a trip suddenly turn into a nightmare. We’ve all read the horror stories about flight attendants and cleaners who steal the possessions you leave behind. But have you seen how far KLM will go to return your lost items? Even before you’ve left the airport! (I apparently missed it when he made headlines a few years ago, so many thanks to reader Emily for bringing this to my attention.)
Unfortunately the adorable beagle Sherlock is only a symbol of the airline’s dedication to reuniting owners with their belongings — you will not find him running through the Amsterdam airport.
