The End of an Era: RIP Spirit’s Canned Wine

About a year-and-a-half ago Keri and Jeanne asked me to do a low-cost out-and-back for the sole purpose of trying the new “Friends Fun Wine†that was being offered on Spirit.

On our most recent flight on Spirit Airlines I was perusing the snacks and drinks menu and noticed something… there was no offering of “Friends Fun Wineâ€, or as we called it wine-in-a-can, on our flight!

You can see the only wine offering is Cabernet and Chardonnay.

The menu was current as of September 2014, I’m not sure if it was only for domestic flights or all of them; but it looks like I won’t get the opportunity to convince Jeanne to fly on Spirit at some point in time so she can “try†wine-in-a-can for herself.
