New Sign Up Bonus — Get 50 Birchbox Points ($5)
If you’re interested in trying out a monthly travel-size beauty product subscription, this is a great time to give Birchbox a try! Through September 14, if you sign up using my referral link you’ll start with 50 extra Birchbox Points.
Referrals have always earned 50 points, but I’ve never seen them offer the refer-ee a bonus too!
Although I’ve had my issues with some of the Birchbox months, one of the things I like the most about them (and why I keep my subscription now) is how quickly you can rack up points. 100 points = $10 credit in the store (unfortunately it can’t be applied to subscriptions).
If you fill out a short survey for each item you receive, you get 10 points.  With 5 items in every box, you can earn 100 points in two months, basically getting a $5 discount every month of the $10 price if they have anything you want to buy.
And fortunately they’ve expanded what they offer, and your ability to opt in and out. I’m no longer getting a bunch of fragrances I won’t wear and food I won’t eat. But if you’re in to the home products as much as the personal care, you’ve got more options now.
Another great thing about Birchbox, they’ve got a man edition too! And it has way better stuff like tech gadgets, scarves, and t-shirts. A friend was telling me his August box came with a transitional summer/fall scarf.
Disclaimer: As noted, signing up using my referral link will give me Birchbox credit, and for the first time ever, you’ll get credit too. Sign up bonus is not churnable. Monthly selections and satisfaction may vary. And if most of the Birchbox man products didn’t have such manly smells, I’d probably be subscribed to that box instead for the cool gadgets.
