What Is Europe’s Best Tourist Attraction?
Can you guess what trumped the Eiffel Tower, the Acropolis, the Roman Colosseum, the La Sagrada Familia, and Buckingham Palace?
The Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, Ireland was named “Europe’s leading tourist attraction” this weekend by the World Travel Awards. You can see the full list of hotels, airlines, and service winners here.
I visited the Guinness Storehouse last year and liked it, but not sure I would have ranked it at the top of my list, even if I did learn how to pour the perfect pint.
If you do go to Dublin to visit Europe’s “best tourist attraction” be sure to pop over to St. Michan’s church for a crypt tour and 800 year old mummy.
