The Worst Airports to Fly Out of This Summer, Hilarious Customer Complaints & More
Highlights and headlines from around the web:
- This compilation of real customer complaints received by Thomas Cook is hilarious (h/t: Jeff P)! As a little bit of a beach snob I do actually sympathize with #6 “We found the sand was not like the sand in the brochure. Your brochure shows the sand as white but it was more yellow.â€
Some of the anecdotes in the comments are even funnier! Feel free to share yours below! - A family is claiming JetBlue removed them from a flight when their toddler began kicking the seat in front of them. Are passengers who recline their seats abruptly next?
- Which are the worst airports this summer? Milecards.com crunched the data and ranked US airport by worst delays during the summer. All three New York airports, Boston, and San Francisco topped the list. And not surprisingly, airports in the south have more delays during the summer than the winter.
- Which are the best North American airports for free wi-fi? Based on a recent Speedtest study, Denver has the fastest, then Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle. Guess that extra bandwidth will make delays at SFO a little more tolerable. Atlanta has some of the worst internet speeds.
- But apparently Atlanta is the most efficient airport in the world 14 years running? I’m skeptical.
- It looks like the Airbnb of rental cars concept is back.
- If you need a few more summery things to add to your warm weather wardrobe, Charlotte Ruse is having a good clearance sale including dresses for $4.99. (h/t: Slickdeals)
