- Next question — what is a ‘bomb cyclone’?
- Disney is doing away with Do Not Disturb signs in their hotel rooms citing safety concerns. In response to the Las Vegas shooting last year, employees will now be required to enter a hotel room at least once every 24 hours. Not to worry, you’ll at least get a “Room Occupied” sign to signal they should knock first.
- You can now rent 4 and 5 star hotel rooms by the minute. And being the travel geek I am, my first thought was “wow, that would be handy when arriving early AM on international flights and not wanting to pay for a full night stay.” 😛
- Piper, the canine airport employee that helped keep the runways clear of wildlife just passed away from cancer. 😢
- Wondering how the vineyards in Northern California are doing after the fires? The greatest challenge is just how haphazard the damage was.
- This has been around for a few days, but in case you missed it: Amazon Prime Members can get get 6 months free of Washington Post Digital Access. After the free period ends it will automatically renew at $3.99 a month.
