The Most Romantic Hotel in the US is in...Ohio?

Fun travels, ill health, and my day job caused an unintentional pause in writing, but hoping to catch up on my more interesting trip reports soon! In the meantime, here are the interesting, funny and random headlines from around the web that caught my attention today:

TripAdvisor just released their 16th annual Traveler’s Choice Awards and Belamere Suites in Perrysburg, Ohio was rated as users’ favorite romantic hotel in the US. Admittedly I thought this might highlight some of the problems with TripAdvisor rankings, but the hotel does appear to be pretty swank with a two story suite complete with private heated swimming pool. Bali was ranked the number one destination in the world with London, Paris, Rome and New York also in the top 5.
