Gifting a Trip? Options for Making Fake Boarding Passes
Looking for a fake airline ticket to surprise someone with a trip or throw a travel themed party? The good news is you don’t have to rely on your own design skills (unless you want to). There are a variety of  boarding pass templates (some are even free) that you can customize within seconds or spend some time to put a very personal touch.

Free Boarding Pass Templates
- Boarding Pass Template for Word — this was first discovered by Le Chic Geek when she suprised her mom with a trip to Paris. The template a little less realistic and best suited for adding information and personal design.
- Music Airport’s Ticket-O-Matic automatically generates a first class boarding pass based on the name, date, time, and airline you put in. Downside, it’s also not super realistic, though it does include the airline’s logo.
Customized Boarding Pass
- Zazzle has a wide selection of boarding pass templates and invitations that you can customize and have professionally printed. If you’re just getting one or a few, the prices aren’t bad at ~$2.50. http://www.zazzle.com/AnyStoreName?rf=238869369449609995
- There’s one fiverr gig that will create custom plane tickets for you, and others that can probably do on request.
Blank Plane Ticket Images
If you have even some basic image editing software, you can also purchase blank/customizable boarding passes through stock photo sites.
- Dreamstime has a wide selection of boarding pass templates from basic to elaborate, and it appears to be the most affordable. Individual images can be bought for as little as ~$5 in credits and you can get 30% cashback through TopCashback.
- Shutterstock as a wide variety of boarding pass templates you can edit starting at $29 for two images. Plus sign up with TopCashBack to get 20% cashback on your your first purchase.
- iStockphoto has a less impressive array of fake airline tickets and works on a credit system, but if you sign up for a month subscription, you can get 10 images for $40. You can also get 20% cashback through TopCashback.
