What’s in the March Birchbox
I’d planned to cancel my Birchbox since the last couple of boxes have been somewhat disappointing but I decided to stick it out for a box or two since I saw they were carrying my new favorite brand Kiehl’s. I did update my profile, removing trendy and going with
“classic” and “low maintenance” in an effort to get rid of the wacky fingernail polish colors. So I was interested to see what this box held.
This month’s theme, not surprisingly, was March Madness.
First up was the Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator and LipFusion Infatuation Lip Fattener in La Lip Jolie. The lip gloss was a huge win. Great color, great gloss and the plumper doesn’t sting, it’s more of a cool minty feeling.
They also include a bonus emery board by Madewell. Always useful to have an extra emery board but not sure it’s worth $5.
Next up was a twistband headband. I’d already snagged the one from my friend from her box a month or two ago and not a huge fan of the headbands although I love the hair ties. The headbands may keep my bangs back, but they’re not attractive.
And the customary little gift box contained a tube of Whish Shave Cream. Which is cool, but at $20 a full size, too rich for my legs 🙂
This Birchbox is better than some have been, and when you total the price points of the products, a good deal. Still on the fence though.
