Latest IHG PointBreaks Great for International Vacations!
If you’ll be traveling overseas November 1-January 31, make sure you check out the IHG PointsBreaks available November 1, which offers hotels for only 5,000 points night. Here’s a sneak peak, official list goes live November 1 here.
Usually the nicer hotel options like Crowne Plaza and Intercontinental are pretty limited, but this round has a nice list, including some more expensive destinations:
InterContinental Johannesburg Sandton Towers
InterContinental Shanghai Rujin
Crowne Plaza Acapulco
InterContinental Resort Tahiti
I stayed at the Intercontinental Tahiti one night in early December a few years ago. It was nice, but not worth the $250 I payed. Definitely worth 5,000 points!
There’s also quite a few airport properties on the list including Frankfort, Brussels, Warsaw, Liverpool and more. Great if you want to overnight before/after a late flight. I can’t wait to see what the full US list has to offer on Friday!
Don’t have enough points? You can buy 5,000 points outright for $67.50. You can also have someone transfer 5K to you for $25. Or transfer them 1:1 from your Chase Sapphire card.

And turns out I won’t make it to South Carolina this fall like I mentioned to you last May at BAcon. However, my parents are going and they are cleaning up on hotel rates through IHG’s flash sale last week and the PointBreaks hotels posted today.
Do you view it directly on the site or on a reader? It’s hot pink on the site, but if you have red issues, I can totally see why it won’t show up!
um…you can get 5000 points for $35…don’t let your readers pay nearly double for these!
