What is Parking Panda?
I first discovered it last year when I was trying to find affordable parking options for our ChampagneDO at the Park Hyatt Washington. I wound up only paying $5 for a space in a garage charging $18 ($35 through the hotel). It’s basically the Hotwire mystery deal of parking, except there’s no mystery — you know where you’ll be parking.
You type in your desired address and they show you a map of possible locations and prices — some are parking garages with excess inventory, others are private parking sports. Since I first tried it last January, they’ve expanded to 100+ cities including 12 airport locations. AND finally added an Android App in addition to the iPhone.
I’ve found this particularly helpful for sporting events, concerts, and summer in DC which is always crowded!
