Birchbox JetBlue Mint Amenity Kits Revealed!
Wandering Aramean was on the inaugural flight of JetBlue’s Mint class this weekend and was kind enough to send me the amenity kits he picked, which I anxious to check out!
They’re being curated by Birchbox, one of my favorite sources for testing out new travel size beauty products, and since these were actually put together with travel in mind, they might be amazing. After seeing the contents, I would be/was pretty happy, especially for a domestic flight!
In the Men’s Box
A tube of Lab Series MAX LS Overnight Renewal Serum an overnight cream to help smooth and restore the complexion. And a tube of Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25, great for keeping lips hydrated in flight.
Those coming back or heading to one of JetBlue’s sunnier destinations would particularly appreciate the Coola Radical Recovery After-Sun Lotion. And a spill proof pouch of Ernest Supplies Cooling Shave Cream is always handy.
I’m not really sure how the Baxter of California Hard Cream Pomade “to keep your traveling hairdo crisp but never crispy” will be received, but I was excited (and a little jealous) to see the stain removal bar from The Laundress.
Definitely a more useful amenity kit than many I’ve seen!
In the Women’s Box
The tube of They’re Real! Mascara fromm Benefit Cosmetics “to feign wide awake eyes” seemed like a good idea for transcontinental flights. As did the bottle of Davines All in One Milk to rejuvenate your hair post flight.
In flight I feel like I can never have too much moisturizer, so was glad to see the Supergoop! Forever Young Hand Cream SPF 40 and the Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser for face and neck.
And then the fun little extra I wish more amenity kits had! Reviver Dry Deodorant Swipes for your clothes — basically Febreeze without the liquid restrictions. And the Klorane Smoothing and Relaxing Eye Patches (great idea!) reminded me a bit of the amenities distributed in ANA First Class.
Not quite as high end as some of the amenity kits I’ve seen, but definitely very useful both in the sky and when you reach your destination. The only thing I’d have added was a toothbrush.
As a fun introduction to Birchbox too, both amenity kits included an invitation to skip the waitlist and get $10 in the Birchbox store using code BBJETBLUE when you sign up.
They were also offering 15% off full-size purchases with code BBJETBLUE15. It does not look like a ticket stub is required to take advantage of either deal. 😉
