June Birchbox Sample Choices Announced & May Birchbox Review

By  |

Birchbox’s June sample choice has been announced! On May 27 you can choose your shade of Benefit’s Gimme Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel or pick the Multifaceted & Mighty special box.

When I first heard that eyebrow shaping brow is  the only sample choice, I was a little disappointed. I go for a thicker eyebrow anyway, so this didn’t seem relevant. Then I took the 70 seconds to watch the video on how to use it, and now I’m at least intrigued about possible results.

Could be useful for those flights where I’ve slept wrong against the window or early morning trips where I’ve just jumped out of bed. But I’m still finding the Multifaceted & Mighty Box more appealing. I like the products and many of them are full size!

Sample choices open up on May 27. Birchbox Aces and anyone who spends $25+ in the Birchbox shop today (May 24) gets access a day early.

And I’ve been behind on posting my May Birchbox Review but I was pretty pleased with what came.

A tiny tub of GOLDFADEN MD Doctor’s Scrub ($38) which uses ruby crystals to exfoiliate dull skin.

Excited to try a suncreen oil. The Supergoop! Sun Defying Suncreen Oil SPF 50 claims to add moisture and sheen while protecting you from UV rays.

Pocket size Jouer Long-Wear Lip Creme Liquid Lipstick ($18) might be a good compromise between lip gloss and lipstick.

And I love hair serums but have yet to fine one that is delicate enough for fine hair. The Obliphica Professional Seaberry Serum — Fine to Medium ($38) comes close, but still leaves me a little greasy.

For only $10 ($5 after I fill out the brief surveys) this was a great box! If you’re interested in subscribing I’d love it if you signed up via my link which will give me credit in the Birchbox shop. 🙂
