What’s in the December Birchbox

a group of gift boxes and a tube of cream

The holidays have much delayed my beauty box posts, but it was still exciting to get the December Birchbox. It was a combo of winter rescue and glam items. And of course a dreaded fragrance 😛

I’ll start with the glam stuff. I had preselected the Coastal Scents styleEYES Eyeshadow Pallette in slate/black ($12) and was excited to see the Benefit They’re Real! Tinted Primer ($24). This could be a great travel option since you can use it as a primer or just as a lighter option on your lashes.

Next was a little bottle of Kopari Coconut Sheer Oil ($38) which can be applied to skin, hair, face, even makeup removal (also good as an all purpose serum when traveling) and the Soap & Paper Factory Shea Butter Hand Cream ($18) which helps offset dehydration on the plane.

And the little vial of Harvey Prince Sincerely fragrance ($28-$57). Not bad, but not for me. I was excited to see the $10 off $35 voucher that came in every box. Was able to use it for my mom’s Christmas gift!

If you’re interested in subscribing to Birchbox, it runs $10 a month but you can get $5 off your first box when you subscribe by January 9 using my link and apply code HAPPY5 at checkout.
