Earn 4,000 Extra Hilton HHonors Points

Just received an email from Hilton. Spend $400 in a single transaction at a Hilton Hotel or Resort with my HiltonÂ HHonorsâ„¢ Credit Card or HiltonÂ HHonorsâ„¢ SurpassÂ® Card and earn an additional 4,000 bonus points. The offer is good for a stay between December 1, 2014 and February 28, 2014.

It does not appear to be targeted or require registration. But pay attention to the fine print.

One-time bonus, additional card members can make the qualifying $400 purchase, but the points will be credited to the main card holder.
Must be booked directly with Hilton, reservations made through 3rd party sites or online portals will not qualify.
If the hotel uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process your transaction, it might not count.
