What Does TSA PreCheck Have to Do With Your Taxes?
News on two travel related partnerships:
- TSA has announced they’ll be expanding the number of Precheck enrollment centers and the new ones will be located in H&R Block offices.
- Expedia has renewed its agreement with American Airlines and plan to add new options for consumers. Expedia may soon be providing hotel content on American’s website and users will be able to buy American Airlines preferred and main cabin extra seats on Expedia, Hotwire, and Travelocity.

I believe that the tsa precheck is now just another government user fee (er tax).
I paid for the precheck. Worked well for a while. Then I didn’t get the precheck on my ticket for a couple of flights. I was told by AA that just because you paid for it doesn’t mean you will always get it per the “small type”. The precheck line has been closed in charleston and bwi the last few times I flew. I’m calling bs on this rip off program.
Locally, there is one tax prep agency that has been playing fast and loose. I believe the feds have raid ’em twice. Then there was the IRS agent whom stole taxpayers info and made about $300,000 before being caught and fired.
