Coffee, Blowouts, and Crayons in the September Birchbox
It’s taken me several weeks to post what I got in September’s Birchbox, mostly because I was busy using them! This is one of my more favorite boxes, even if it did include perfume, which I’m not a huge fan of.
The Juliette Has a Gun ($90-$120) Not a Perfume “has a single note: elegant spicy Cetalox.”
It was not for me, but everything else was!
I have fallen in love with the Birchbox exclusive PARLOR by Jeff Chastain Smoothing Blowout Spray ($24) which gives my hair body, volume, and straightness in all but the most humid (read rain) weather. Will definitely be taking it with me on my next Southeast Asia trip.
And of course the POP Beauty Sugar Plum eyeshadow trio ($26) is what I had picked in the sample selection.
The 100% Pure Organic Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream ($25) has also been good at reducing dark circles and fine lines (though I still prefer Say Yes To Blueberries best) and the tiny treStiQue Correct & Cover Concealer Crayon ($26) in bisque is good for a portable, long-lasting concealer.
If you’re considering signing up for Birchbox, now is a good time! If you sign up with my link by October 9, you’ll get $5 off your first box. After that it will run $10 a month and if you fill out the surveys you can earn $5 in store credit each time.
