Harper’s Bazaar September Glossybox

Glossybox teamed up with Harper’s Bazaar for the September box, and overall it was pretty good. Usually branded boxes are a better value because the partner company wants to make sure it represents them well. This box was no exception.

Although I’ll admit, when I opened it up and saw the Bulgari I sighed. Hahahah.

Because the Eau Parfumee The Vert Conditioner ($45 for 6.75 oz) is the same hair conditioner that the Hotel Bristol has as it’s bath amenity. It feels less special when it’s something you could steal off the cart so-to-speak.

I was thrilled to see the full size Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real! Mascara, $23. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics ‘Authentic’ Lip Tar in Black Dahlia, $18, (a deep red) was another matter. Definitely like the lip tar concept of non-fading color, but most of the time these red shades make me look like a tart who’s trying too hard so we’ll see.

I love Vichy products so very excited about trying the LiftActiv Nuit, $50, anti-aging lifting cream. And finally! A nail polish in a color I regularly wear, Essie’s She Pampered, $8.

With four full size products, definitely a good box! And kind of funny I wasn’t excited about the Bulgari, but it will make a good Christmas stocking stuffer.
