Two Things Making Holiday Travel Delays Better Today

If you’re stuck at the airport today, keep an eye out for United Airlines comfort dogs. To help improve travellers’ airport experience, the United Paws program will have 230 trained comfort canines at 8 airports through today, December 23. Turns out oxytocin is released when you pet a dog, a hormone that helps reduce stress and blood pressure.

The lucky airports are both Reagan National and Dulles, Chicago, Cleveland, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, and Newark.

And regardless of where you experience delays — cab lines, traffic, airports — Sheraton has your back. Don’t forget to tweet #delightdelaysweeps and follow @SheratonHotels for a chance to win one of 140 daily prizes. I’ve already won a great Travel Amenity kit on the first day! 🙂
