Get 100% Cashback On Your Next Meal Through Living Social Restaurant Plus

There’s a new way to earn cashback for dining out. Living Social Restaurant Plus has just joined the ranks of Dining Rewards, Open Table, and Mogl, offering up to 30% cashback when you dine at select restaurants at certain times.

And as an incentive to try them out, you can get your first meal FREE up to $20 when you sign up with my referral link (I’ll get $20 LivingSocial credit). Note: You must dine within 30 days of signing up to get the bonus.

How Does Restaurant Plus by Living Social Work?

  1. Sign up for an account. If you already have a Living Social account you can use that login.a screenshot of a login form
  2. Link your credit card(s) that you use at restaurants. It will automatically suggest the ones associated with your Living Social account but you can add new ones. Note by signing up for Restaurants Plus you’re allowing them access to your credit card activity.
  3. Find participating restaurants by searching for cuisine & time.a screenshot of a restaurant
    Or do a map search.

  4. Once you reach a $10 balance you can cash out.

I haven’t tried this out yet, but the amounts are enough to make it worth trying at least once and easier than trying to do the more traditional restaurant voucher discounts.

How does Restaurant Plus compare to other earning options?

Open Table awards points for completed reservations, so can stack with other offers like these.

Dining Rewards offers points or miles in the program of your choice using your linked credit card(s). I’m assuming you can’t stack, but I have yet to find a restaurant that participates in other programs in order to test it.

Mogl offers varying cashback based on the time you dine. My issue with it is there weren’t enough participating locations. But apparently they’ve partnered up with Living Social since Restaurant Plus listings includes all Mogl listings (at the same rates) and more.

  1. can you explain how this works? Is it only when you go to the restaurant? or can it be for delivery too?
