The June Sephora Play Box Has Arrived
My June Sephora Play Box arrived. It’s definitely worth the $10 but I’m not as completely captivated by it as I was by last month’s box. That’s largely because things could turnout to be really awesome beauty breakthroughs or could result in me looking like a hot mess on a trip.
I’m always in the search for better hair products to give my fine strands some volume without weighing them down. The Bumble and Bumble Don’t Blow It ($31) looks promising though I’m a little scared by the note to “resist touching after it’s dried — the oils in your skin can cause it to become greasy and limp.”
My version of tan is more of an off-white freckled color. So hoping the BareMinerals bareSkin Sheer Sun Serum Bronzer ($28) could be a good way of tinting my favorite moisturizer and trying out some contouring. Or it could require the morning trying to scrub orange off my face.
I think I love this for the bottle color alone! And with summer coming on, a travel size Tarte Tarteguard 30 Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ($32) will be handy.
Since I rarely wear foundation or lipstick, the high end Becca Backlight Priming Filter ($38) is wasted on me.
Travel size mascara is always a plus, especially since you’re supposed to throw yours out after 3 months. I like Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real! Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara ($24) but it seems to show up pretty frequently in all the beauty boxes.
Not a perfume fan but Tocca Florence ($68) intrigues me. Apparently violets contain “a chemical that makes the fragrance fleeting and impossible to smell continually. Smells nice, and sounds promising!
