How to Score Super Cheap Wine at Whole Foods This Weekend & More

- Whole Foods is having a big sale on some of their best wines this Friday through Sunday, July 21-23, with bottles starting at $8. And if you’re lucky, maybe your local store will also have a wine tasting room with Yquem available by the ounce. 😁
- The laptop ban on flights to the US from select countries is officially lifted!
- Head’s up! It looks like Thailand may be enforcing a law requiring tourists to have $300USD in cash (or the equivalent). This would be a problem for me as I usually travel with very little cash and just hit up an ATM as soon as I land.
- American airlines has relaxed the dress code for non-rev passengers (those traveling on a pass) to anything that is neat and clean and doesn’t offend or distract. One of the guidelines for defining if it’s acceptable: “When in doubt, ask yourself, ‘Do I blend in with customers?’ If so, you’re probably set.” Whoever wrote that must not have been on some of my flights…

- The DealMommy weighs in on whether the Sheraton Iguazu Falls is worth the price. I stayed there two years ago and definitely thought it was worth it for the benefits she identified: views of the fall from my room and getting early access to the park so I didn’t have to wait in line of the train or jostle for views on the boardwalks.
Regardless of where you stay, you should absolutely go. It’s THAT amazing.
