These Are a Few of My Favorite Souvenirs
Keri recently wrote about picking out souvenirs to bring back from trips and how hers have evolved over the years. When she mentioned bringing back local snack food, it took me back to when my husband deployed to Afghanistan. He told me about a certain brand of “crisps†and “joos†boxes he was able to get over there:
When he came home he was able to bring me back a bag of the chips. Probably my second-favorite souvenir he brought back for us from that deployment (after the Afghan rug of course). =)
