Win $100 of Wine!

My favorite online wine site, Wines ‘Til Sold Out, is holding their annual Cheapskate Marathon on Tuesday, January 12. A day of wines rated 90 points or higher priced $8.99-$18.99, with a new bottle on offer every 15 minutes or until sold out, which happens pretty often. Free shipping on 4 or more bottles! This does not bode well for my productivity that day.

To celebrate this awesome opportunity to replenish your supply of what my dad calls “everyday wines,” they giving away a $100 WTSO gift card to one lucky Heels First Travel reader. Winner will be announced on Monday afternoon, in time to use the gift card on a lot of wine on Tuesday (or at any point during the year).

There are multiple ways to enter with daily entry options. The giveaway ends Monday, January 11 at 11:59AM ET. Note: anyone over 21 can enter, but WTSO only ships to the US.

Good luck and happy sipping!

  1. I’m one of those boring people who tends to buy a lot of the same wines over and over as house wines because I know I like them…but this sounds like a good excuse to branch out and try something new at a great price!

  2. 1 Rioja, 1 Pinotage, 1 cheap Chianti, and 1 sparkling anything – because who doesn’t like tiny bubbles? Free shipping ftw.

  3. Paradise Ridge Walter’s Reserve Pinot Noir is one of our favorites. Delicate, smooth, pairs wonderful with any dish featuring mushrooms.

  4. I had a neighbor that only drank Lambrusco, and now it’s my favorite, too. It’s inexpensive and so mild in flavor!

  5. Anything from Williamson Wines (in Healdsburg, CA). The owner and winemaker is an Aussie who manages to make excellent wines that are both approachable now and (for the reds) will lay down for 5+ years.

  6. Agree with Ally M. that Trecini Cellars wines are an incredible value…if you can find them outside of northern CA

  7. I buy a lot of Yellowtail or Little Penguin wines which are always on sale at the various liquor stores near my home.
