Free One-Day Amazon Shipping through Discover

By  |

One more reason to love having a Discover card! I’ve usually shunned purely cashback cards in favor of point/miles earning options, but Jeanne, and all the ShopDiscover deals on evreward.com and now Amazon, is convincing me.

I just got an email this morning that Discover card holders get free one-day shipping at Amazon.com, no prime membership required. Through September 15, just pay with your Discover card and use code DSCVRFSP. Offer apparently only applies to items sold by Amazon.com.

Don’t have a Discover it Card? It’s worth considering, especially if you just want to travel domestically. Getting more cashback is often a better option than shelling out 25,000-50,000 miles for a coach ticket that may have black out dates.

But anyway:

  • No annual fee
  • Up to 5% cashback on select categories every quarter (make sure you register for them!)
  • Some of the highest cashback payouts at retailers, like 15% at Groupon, through Shop Discover
  • Free one-day shipping at Amazon through September 15 with code DSCVRFSP.

With no annual fee, there’s no cost to keeping one at the back of your wallet and pulling it out for great opportunities like Groupon, Amazon, and whatever the quarterly promos are.
