$199 for 2 Nights at Select Hyatts

KGB Deals is currently offering a $199 voucher good for 3 days/2 nights at 25 Hyatt locations: Atlanta, Baltimore, Buffalo, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Washington D.C., Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis or Tampa. If you’re planning a trip to Vegas, the MGM Grand and Mirage are options.

Available dates start January 15, 2013 and run through January 15, 2014. I was hoping to use it for the upcoming trip with Jeanne to San Francisco, but we’ll be outside the travel dates.

There’s a lot of fine print, so probably only worth it if you have flexible for visiting any of the cities above next year. Some of the more restrictive criteria:

  • Cannot combine vouchers for extended stays
  • Reservation required; please redeem online at http://www.bbptdailydeal.com/travelrewards/ by entering your voucher number
  • Must book at least 35 days in advance
  • Tax included
  • Black out dates: Thanksgiving, weeks of Christmas, New Years, Easter, Memorial Day weekend, July 4th and Labor Day weekend

You currently can get 6% cashback through ebates, or if you’re new to KGB Deals and sign up using our link, we’ll get referral credit (which is much appreciated!).

Full Disclosure: I may receive affiliate credit from links in this post or on this site which will help fund my travels. Thank you for your support!

    1. I believe so. You don’t have to choose your hotel now, but the $199 is non-refundable. Then once you commit to a hotel I *believe* it is non-changeable, but their terms are vague. Since you are going through a travel agency instead of the hotel, they probably pre-bought all the room spaces already–so you will be dealing with them, not Hyatt.

Also, note the fine print that you have to commit to a hotel at least 35 days out from when you plan to stay.

Summary: So you can buy this and decide not to choose a hotel for a while. You can’t get your $199 back, but you have flexibility. You probably can’t change once you choose a hotel, but this is unproven.
