Airplane Seat Belts Getting Upgraded
Stuck at the Airport has an interesting post about new seat belt technology being featured at the recent Aircraft Interiors Expo Americas. The end of each row would have a display letting flight attendants know which seat belts were unfastened, reducing the need to wake sleeping passengers to check.
A similar form of technology is already in place on many first class seats. It won’t catch the seat belt, but it does alert flight attendants if the seat has not been restored to a fully upright position.
If only they could implement this technology for economy with an alarm that goes off when an inconsiderate person reclines their seat while the plane is still taking off!
What airline technology do you wish they’d create?

Sometimes when you comment, it goes to a blank page and looks like it doesn’t post. It actually does, I promise!
I want a BEEP BEEP BEEP sound for before people put their seats back so you can move your head or laptop
