Earn 1000 US Airways Miles On Your Next Starwood Stay

I’m always skeptical when I see hotel specials that allow you to double your points or earn bonus airline miles for your stay. They often can cost far more than a good rate on your reservation or just buying the points outright. But when I saw the ad on the US Airways website for Aloft, element, and Four Points stays I decided to investigate.

It’s actually a pretty good deal, especially if you were booking the flexible rate. The US Airways bonus has the same cancellation policy as the flexible rate and comes with 1,000 US Airways miles and a $10 food & beverage credit. Book via www.starwoodhotels.com/usairwaysmiles or use special rate code: SSBMLS

I looked up a few properties for a weekend stay in November, including Brooklyn, NY and Winchester, VA. The pre-paid rate was running about $10 less than the flexible and US Airways rates, which the $10 credit + bonus miles would more than cover. The AAA breakfast rate was all over the place, sometimes a little less, sometimes $40 more.

Definitely worth it if you were already planning a stay at Aloft, element, or Four Points.
