Earn Free Travel With Your Holiday Shopping
As you’re shopping today and throughout the holiday season (and afterwards) don’t miss out on easy ways to score more miles, points, and cashback that will put you much closer to your next redemption for a free night or free ticket! A few tips:
1. Check if your online stores can earn points, miles, or cashback through shopping portals. I love to use Cashbackaholic and evReward to compare what the best offers for each store is.
2. Sign up (in advance to make the process faster) for several cashback portals. Focus your shopping through 3-4 of them to make it easier to earn enough for a payout and keep track. I find the following have the broadest range of merchants and consistently higher payouts, but your results might vary:
3. Pay attention to the emails from airline shopping portals and your credit cards they often run short term promos or bonus miles that aren’t picked up by portal comparison sites.
Even if you’re not using miles or points earning credit cards, you can still make great progress towards your next trip using the 3 tips above. I’ve earned $300 in cashback and over 10,000 miles this year just by using shopping portals, and I’ve been cutting back on my purchases!
