Heels First Travel Speaking at FTU Dallas!

I’m excited to announce I’ll be doing a session on Solo Female Travel 101 at the upcoming Frequent Traveler University in Dallas!

a woman sitting in a chairAs I’m sure many of you know, it’s one thing to be competent at traveling alone when you need to, it’s a completely different thing to feel comfortable and actually enjoy it.

Do I wish I always had the perfect traveling companion to join me on every trip? Sure! But I’d rather be able to see more of the world more often than wait for folks to be available. And honestly, on some trips the joy of not having to compromise on what to see outweighs any downsides ;-).

But it’s not as simple as just buying a ticket and making hotel reservations. And women face additional issues and considerations.

And my hope is the Q & A portion will allow others to share their insights and questions with the group.

So if you’ve recently started vacationing alone or are considering it, I hope you’ll come by my session! Tickets for the 3 day event taking place April 17-19 at DFW are still available as are the discounted hotel rooms. If you’ve never been to Frequent Traveler University its a great venue in general to make friends with people as excited about travel as you are and learn things in an hour that would take days of reading blog posts.

But no worries if you can’t make it, I’ll be posting notes from my talk as well as the great ideas that will come out of the Q & A portion.

And whether you can come or not, please feel free to suggest in the comments below any topics or questions you’d like to see covered!
