How To Enjoy Craft Cocktails Inflight
Want to add a little glamour to your trip? Now you can enjoy craft cocktails 30,000 feet up thanks to the Carry On Cocktail Kit.
W&P Design partnered with Plunge to create mini travel cocktail kits with all the mixings for two fabulous cocktails in the sky. Each kit contains the necessary high-end mixers, recipe, spoon, and to really keep it classy, a linen coaster. You just need to procure the mini-bottle from the flight attendant.
3 cocktail options are currently available:
- Old Fashioned
- Gin & Tonic
- Moscow Mule
Be aware though that good taste doesn’t come cheap. You still have to buy your liquor from the flight attendant on top of the $24 retail price per kit. Amazon does have them slightly discounted (plus Prime eligible).
And don’t forget Jeanne has put together travel hacks for more sophisticated inflight cocktails as well!
That has got to be the most useless and expensive item ever. Imagine paying $24 for a gin and tonic cocktail kit that doesn’t contain any gin or tonic! This even makes the stuff in the skymall catlog look useful.
But it did give me something to write about on my http://www.bugadvisor.com blog today – so thanks for that.
I send these to friends as gifts. We always complain about a lack of good cocktails on flights. I want something more than vodka/tonic. Its not cheap, but if you are in first, the alcohol is free so drink up.
