Spoiler: October’s Birchbox Revealed
After finding out this month’s sample choices were an array of mascaras I was quite looking forward to what the rest of the samples would be. I’ll admit, I’m a little let down. It’s perfectly fine and still worth the $10 (minus $5 store credit for reviews), but not blowing my mind.
IÂ was excited to see the Caudalie products! The Make-up Remover Cleansing Water ($14-28), I really need to get better about doing that before I go to sleep, and the bonus Instant Detox Mask ($39).
Yet another bottle of 12 Benefits Instant Healthy Hair Treatment ($21) which is good stuff, but not my favorite hair product and a tiny little tube of too cool for school Dinoplatz Pearl Bay Invasion highlighting cream ($33). I don’t really wear foundation, so this isn’t super helpful.
The highly anticipated Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash ($24) — can it withstand sleeping on a plane? And, just my luck, yet another perfume. While Clean’s White Woods Eau de Parfum ($38-69) does smell clean, it’s still too strong and too floral for me.
