Lounge Reviews
The New Etihad Lounge at JFK is Open
The new Etihad Airport Lounge at JFK soft launched yesterday and I got a chance to check it out while waiting for the inaugural flight from JFK to Abu Dhabi flight on the A380.
You take a left out of security and it’s near the end of Terminal 4.
They offer a luggage check which I took advantage of so I could more freely explore the lounge.
Loved the bar and the wall of windows as you first walk in.
It’s very spacious and every seat has a table and power outlet next to it. I ordered some celebratory champagne and when I got back to my seat it was waiting, with a hot towel!
There’s a small dining area though you can also eat anywhere in the lounge.
Order off a menu or nibble from the cold buffet.
Service is amazing, every 5 minutes folks were coming by to see how my experience was going and offer to get me things. I did order a dessert which never arrived, but was totally fine ok because I’m saving my appetite for the meals on the plane anyway!
The bathrooms were small but beautiful — 2 toilet rooms and a shower room.
The only downside I experienced is the beautiful wall of windows makes it quite warm in the afternoon. Definitely an improvement on JFK Terminal 4 lounges!
