Try the World Thailand Edition!

a box with food items in it

I am soooo exited about Try the World’s Thailand box! This food subscription box features Thai specialties from around the country, carefully curated to give you “A Thai Afternoon” and “Thai Dinner for 4.”

First stop is a Thai Iced Tea made with Wangderm tea and sweetened with Coconut Flower Syrup.

Dried Jackfruit from Eros (quite strong), Taro chips by Minemadame, and Coconut Crispy Rolls from Virgin Coco are accompanying snacks.

Then you can treat up to 3 other people to a traditional Thai dinner.

First course made with your Tom Yum Organic Soup Set, second course, Green Curry Chicken with the included Green Curry Paste.

This latter course might be a little more difficult since the needed fish sauce, tamarind paste, and kaffir lime leaves are not provided. 🙁 The good news is both the soup set and the curry paste can also be used as marinades or seasonings for other dishes.

Dessert is one of my favorite sort of Thai dishes, Jasberry Rice Pudding. Which I will justify as healthy since this “organic and non-GMO” rice is high in antioxidants and fiber. This too can be used in fried rice dishes or as a side.

This month is definitely a win! If you’re interested in subscribing, Try the World runs $39 a box and is shipped free every 2 months. New subscribers can get a free Thailand box with the upcoming Sweden box.
