I’m pretty excited about the idea of staying in Yosemite without having to rough it! The Redwoods is located in the park and has a staff of 50 to handle guests needs. The prize, worth $864, is 2 nights in a fully-furnished lovely 1,780 Sq. Ft. 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath cabin situated in the charming pioneer town of Wawona, within Yosemite National Park.

The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher. When you enter the front door you are greeted with a large living space featuring vaulted ceilings, western red cedar walls, a gorgeous river rock fireplace (firewood provided in season), a flat screen satellite T.V. with a DVR (Digital Video Recorder), DVD player and DSL/WiFi.

I personally would be most excited about the fireplace!

  54. I’ve already booked my flights to and from FAT to make my first-ever trip to Yosemite in May. I had planned on staying in my tent in one of the campgrounds but this cabin looks much nicer.

  65. I once spent a night snowed in at a laundromat at one of the camp grounds. I drove up for the day in my 1972 VW bus during college with my girlfriend at the time. An unexpected snowstorm shut down the roads (pre-internet/ cell phone). We camped out under a clothes folding table, ate snacks, and easier until dawn when the roads were cleared. I agree with you. My favorite feature would be the fireplace! 🙂

  77. My favorite is the Appalachian Trail. I try to go every summer. However, I’ve always wanted to go to Yosemite! It looks breathtaking! To sit there and just admire the beauty would be so relaxing!

  84. This would be great to gather my friends together from all over CA, and me fly back to CA from very polluted Shanghai to experience fresh, clean air with friends I will not seen since July. Slogging through grading essays once again. Please pick me. I need a good clean, fresh air vacation in a beautiful area.
