Grand Canyon, Yosemite Get 1* on Yelp
A fun read for your Friday morning. Tuesday marked the National Park Service’s 99th Birthday (and free admission). In honor, Mother Jones ran an article featuring some of the 1 and 2 star reviews visitors gave on Yelp. (h/t Kathryn C).
While some of the comments are actually a review of the park service employees or ongoing construction and thus seem somewhat helpful, others are just hilarious. One of my favorites was for Carlsbad Caverns…”Only go to this cave if you like caves.”
I wonder if the National Park Service will be establishing different Yelp Pages to review their operations like the TSA just did.
