Private Jets in the December Glossybox

a group of makeup products on a table

December’s Glossybox seemed made for me! For once all the luxe products were in colors I use and even though I don’t wear much lipstick, how could I resist the Gold Label Creme Lipstick in Private Jets ($14), which turns out to be a nice pinkish red but not too extreme. And fortunately since I love a deep red nailpolish, the Color Club ($8.50) was in a dark ruby.

And Glossybox’s first branded cosmetics was a creamy aubergine eyeshadow ($11), one of the few eyeshadow colors I actually wear! Always in search of new perfect mascaras for travel, I’m excited to try MTJ Cosmetics High Definition Mascara ($21) which I’d never heard of and boasts “all of the drama and none of the clumpy mess.” Now let’s see if it comes off on my in-flight pillow…

And in keeping with the season, Simple Sugars All-Natural Body Scrub ($14) in candy cane scent, made of actual sugar!

And as a bonus, every box came with a card for a complimentary Beauty Service at any Estee Lauder counter and a free 10 day supply of their 3 Minute Beauty Foundation.

Depending on how good the eyeshadow and mascara is, this box will definitely be worth the $21 a month. Their points program isn’t as generous as Birchbox, but they can be used to redeem for a free box at 1,000 points and you can typically earn 100 points a months reviewing what you receive. I’m close to my next free box, so if you decide to subscribe, please sign up via my tell-a-friend link. 🙂
