Getting Into the Lounge Without Your Membership Card

a card with a credit card and a card on the front

Last week I discovered the day before my next round of flights that I had lost my new United Club Membership Card and wasn’t sure how to gain access to the US Airways Lounge. After taking the complimentary lounge pass I got with my US Airways MasterCard, she’d mentioned that if I just present email proof of membership, that would work.

So this Friday I went armed with a printout of my Welcome email, but fully prepared for whoever was manning the desk this time to tell me it wasn’t sufficient.

It was! I had neglected to hand her my ID or Mileage Plus number with the email proof, but as soon as I did, they entered it in and I was good to go!

So if you do lose your card, get email proof of membership and you should be fine getting into allied lounges in the interim.Invalid request error occurred.
