$1700 First Class Fare to Seoul, Chinese Passport Hoax, and Uber News
A few things of interest this morning:
- View from the Wing just posted about an amazing deal on United. $1700 from Boston, Burlington, and Hartford to Seoul, South Korea in United Global First. I visited Seoul last month and had a good time — even if it’s not high on your list, it is easy to get cheap tickets from there to other places in Asia. And apparently the tickets allow for stopovers in Tokyo as well.
- More news from South Korea — apparently the story of a Chinese man who got stuck in South Korea after his son scribbled all over his passport was a hoax. (h/t: uggboy)
- The Virginia DMV sent a cease-and-desist letter to Uber and Lyft on Thursday, but both carriers have announced they will continue operating.
- Uber & co are alive and well in Colorado, which has signed into law the first ridesharing legislation in the country. Â
