20% Bonus on US Airways MasterCard Purchases: Check Your Mail
Over the weekend I was reminded why I keep my US Airways Dividend Miles MasterCard around. They’re pretty good at offering targeted bonuses throughout the year and on Saturday I got a card in the mail announcing I was eligible for a 20% bonus on all miles earned July 1 through August 31, if I spend $2,000 on the card during that time period.
Bonus miles are capped at 10,000 ($50,000 or less in purchases). The offer is apparently for select cardmembers only and no registration is required, so check your mail to see if you qualify. I almost thought the flyer was another marketing push to purchase miles. 😛
Another interesting benefit being extended as part of the promo is foreign transaction fees will be reimbursed in July and August as well. Another reason I might switch my spend from my Starwood AMEX and Chase Sapphire (for non-travel or food expenses) during this time period.
